Senior, commercially-minded GC expertise for investors, founders, and established businesses — a lawyer who thinks like an operator, available on a fractional, project, or ad hoc basis. Whether you need help building a legal function, getting a deal closed, or a sharp commercial read on what’s in front of you.
Whether you need embedded counsel for the long term, set hours of senior GC time each week, or a sounding board to call in as needed — legal and general counsel support, shaped to how you actually work.
Defined-scope engagements where you need senior firepower without growing headcount — financing rounds, M&A, commercial deals, restructures, or building a legal function from zero.
For the questions that don’t warrant a full engagement — a term sheet review, a tricky board paper, a tough conversation to prepare for. A quick call, a clear answer.
Built for the moments when the stakes are highest and the team is leanest.
Deal support across diligence, structuring and documentation — plus standing capacity for portfolio companies who’ve outgrown ad-hoc external advice.
The legal partner you hire before you hire a legal team. Set up the function, get the foundational documents right, and have a calm head on the leadership team.
For established companies that don’t need a permanent GC — senior advice on tap when a question comes up, or a defined project to run end-to-end.
I’ve been practising law since 2007 — 15+ years across senior in-house roles and private practice, advising investors, founders and boards on the moments that move a business forward. I started my legal career at Minter Ellison Rudd Watts in the Corporate/Commercial team. I’m a commercial lawyer first: I care as much about whether a deal is the right one as whether the paperwork is tidy. I was admitted to the New York Bar in 2019.
Before law, I was a founder myself. In the years before snowboarding hit the mainstream, I built a snowboard apparel brand for women — and grew it into a globally distributed business, with a licensed range of snowboards, bindings and boots manufactured and sold under it in Japan. Then I moved into law.
Whether it’s a quick question, a defined project, or you’re thinking about a longer engagement — the best place to start is an email. Calls are confidential.
